all are welcome
At Willowdale, we believe nature belongs to everyone. We're building a community rooted in wonder, connection, and respect — for each other, and for the land we call home.
At Willowdale, we believe every child deserves the freedom to explore, learn, and thrive outdoors.
We are committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where children can connect with nature, build resilience, and nurture their innate curiosity.
Through community initiatives and school partnerships, we are working to expand access to outdoor learning—bringing nature-based play, and hands-on experiences to more children and families.
Rooted in respect for the land and one another, we are growing a future where every child has the opportunity to discover the wonder of the wild.
Mission Statement
More coming soon.
Our Vision
Nature is for everyone.
At Willowdale, we believe the outdoors is a place for connection, empowerment, and endless growth. We’re committed to nurturing a community where families of every identity, background, and ability feel seen, valued, and inspired to thrive.
We proudly affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals, champion equity, and design experiences that are welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all.
The journey toward justice and belonging is ongoing—and like nature itself, we are always growing, learning, and evolving.
We know we are nothing without community. Together, we are nurturing a space where every explorer is free to lead, discover, and learn in their own time.
Diversity, Equity and inclusion
At Willowdale, we are grateful to live, explore, and play on unceded land that has been stewarded by Indigenous Peoples for generations.
Our experiences take place on N’dakinna—the traditional, ancestral, and unceded homeland of the Abenaki, Pennacook, and Wabanaki Peoples, past and present.
We honor with gratitude the land, the waterways, and the alnobak (people) who have cared for N’dakinna across generations.
We recognize that Indigenous presence is not part of history—it is vibrant and ongoing. We walk, learn, and grow together in shared spaces, and we commit to celebrating, respecting, and including Indigenous Peoples in the communities where we live, learn, and explore.
